Melbourne Cookbook Launch – Food and Stories from Australia’s Indian-Jewish community

Don't miss the Melbourne launch of Elana Benjamin's new cookbook, Indian-Jewish Food Recipes and Stories from the Backstreets of Bondi. Books and kosher samples available through pre-ordering.

What is Indian-Jewish food? And what makes it unique? Join author Elana Benjamin in conversation with journalist Rebecca Davis as they talk about Elana's new cookbook. Don't miss this opportunity to deep dive into the spice-infused cuisine and little-known stories of India's Baghdadi Jews who immigrated to Australia - including Elana's family.

‘An alluring, beautifully-spiced and mouthwatering journey, sharing a unique Jewish culture.’

LISA GOLDBERG, MONDAY MORNING COOKING CLUB

'Full of robustly researched and beautifully written memories and explorations of Jewish cuisine in the subcontinent.'

ALICE ZASLAVSKY, award-winning author of IN PRAISE OF VEG

Kosher samples and cookbook orders available through pre-ordering.
