When dehumanisation and destruction become the norm, the cycle must be broken. Following decades of dialogue facilitation between Jews, Muslims and Christians, Ittay Flescher believes that today's enemies can be the partners of the future. Join the North Shore launch of his first book, The holy and the broken, which challenges Palestinian and Israeli leaders, citizens, and their supporters worldwide to imagine a different reality in a book that will comfort the troubled and trouble the comfortable.

The evening includes an in conversation with Ittay and award-winning storyteller Donna Jacobs Sife, followed by Q&A with book sales by Bookface St Ives, signings and light refreshments.

The exact location will be sent 24 hours in advance.

'Courageous and considered. Ittay nurtures the tender, fragile shoots of peace. The world could do with more people like him' Paul Kelly, Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist
