Following a full house in Sydney the night before Rami and Bassam spoke to a capacity crowd at the Australian National University.
Organised by the Freilich Project for the Study of Bigotry, the Centre for Arab & Islamic Studies and the Research School of Social Sciences at the Australian National University students and academics asked hard hitting questions following the sold out talk in Canberra. The audience included a number of academics who had heard Rami and Bassam speak during an ECAJ study tour earlier in the year to the region.
In the morning Sydney’s Emanuel Synagogue hosted them as part of their weekly Conversations about Israel series. While not everyone agreed with what they had to say there was no shortage of questions and appreciation for the work they do.
