Covid Courage: Stories of Sydney Jewry

Covid Courage: Stories of Sydney Jewry is a three-part documentary series chronicling the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on everyday lives.

  • Commissioned by The Jewish Independent, and written and directed by Sydney filmmaker Benjamin Strum, the series provides a compelling insight into the ordinary and extraordinary ways that Sydney Jewish people have responded to life in lockdown.

  • Each part will be released on a Monday morning, beginning April 25. The release of Pandemic Pen Pal will coincide with the beginning of the week of Yom Hashoah, the international day for Holocaust remembrance.
