‘We will be like astronauts, the world is closed, the forest is open, lockdown with love…’ - Miriam responds to coronavirus.

LOCKDOWN WITH LOVE

We will be like astronauts
The world is closed
The forest is open
Lockdown with love

Plant a small garden
Build a fortress with cushions
Sing your gospels but prepare the pantry
Start your Vipasana now

We will be like astronauts
The world is closed
The sun is rising
Draw what you see outside your window

The panic is inside
But so is the breath
Cry

We will be like astronauts
The world is closed
But home is where the heart is
Lockdown with love,

Sit
Sit with eyes closed and listen to Mozart
Sit some more
Rest

We will be like astronauts
The world is closed
Ring a friend, have a laugh
See how long you can laugh for

Write a poem
Sing to the stars
Dance with your loved ones
Let the weight on your shoulders fly

We will be like astronauts
The world is closed
But it isn’t really
