50 years after the Six-Day War – Runners without Borders in Jerusalem marathon

The seventh Jerusalem marathon was run last week, in the 50th year since the Six-Day War and the 100th since the Balfour Declaration.

Among some 30,000 participants were members of Runners Without Borders. ‘We don't run for politics but for humanity. There is no difference between a Jew and an Arab,’ says Samaha Marouf, a teenage runner from East Jerusalem. Includes video [1:19].
