ABC speaks with Dr Shireen Morris, co-editor of Statements from the Soul, a collection of essays from multifaith and multicultural Australians.

A group of multifaith and multicultural Australians has come together to advocate for the 2017 statement and rally behind the push for a First Nations Voice to be enshrined in the Constitution.

Statements from the Soul: The Moral Case for the Uluru Statement for the Heart is a collection of essays written by contributors from Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jewish and Hindu communities in Australia.

Sarah Macdonald spoke with Dr Shireen Morris from the Radical Centre Reform Lab at Macquarie University Law School who has also co-edited the collection of essays.
