The historic wedding of Oscar and Ilan

Two men who have been in a relationship for 47 years become the first Jewish same-sex couple to be married in an Australian synagogue.

When they stood under the chuppah at Emmanuel Synagogue, Ilan Buchman, 70, and Oscar Shub, 71, made history.

The pair became the first Jewish same-sex couple to have an Australian wedding, just five months after gay marriage was legalised in Australia.
