For both moral and political reasons, we cannot be indifferent to the fate of our Palestinian neighbors in the Strip... Hamas is a hostile, fanatic, and totalitarian organisation. But the people who live under Hamas rule are human beings. If we do not enable them to live like human beings, we will push them to the wall and cause them to carry out desperate acts that will bring disaster upon them and make us miserable as well.
