Obama’s Supreme Court nominee emotionally recalls Jewish roots – The Times of Israel 16.03.16
If confirmed, Merrick Garland would be the ninth Jewish justice in Supreme Court history and the fourth on the current nine-member panel, which is comprised entirely of Jews and Catholics. The three current Jewish members are Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Elana Kagan and Stephen Breyer.
