The battle over the West Bank synagogue began 7 years ago when Yesh Din petitioned the High Court after discovery that documents re purchase of the land from its Palestinian owners were forged. The demolition was first scheduled for July 2012 but the court has since allowed several delays. The last order required demolition by 18 November but at time of publication of this post the deadline has been extended to 3pm on 19 November because state says its demolition by force would 'lead to bloodshed' (reasoning not applied when Palestinian houses or other structures  have been demolished).
