Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz will be appointed to a committee tasked with expanding and regulating the pluralistic prayer pavilion at Jerusalem’s Western Wall, according to Hebrew media reports.
The appointment of Steinitz, a close confidant of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, may revive the three-member task force, after two of its members, Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked and Culture Minister Miri Regev, announced they were pulling out in recent days.
