Antisemitic and anti-Israel TV content, including an interview with a child who wants to wage jihad against Israel, another carrying Holocaust denial, and a call to arms by the then Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah are being beamed into Australia on a satellite TV service through a company owned by the chief political ally of Hezbollah.
These Arabic language videos are slipping under the radar of broadcasting authorities, who do not have the resources to assess the volume of foreign language content entering Australia and instead rely on the providers and their local intermediaries, who do not apply the same rigour as government bodies.
The offensive content is produced in Lebanon and available in Australia on channels such as NBN and Al-Jadeed, which can be accessed on the MySatgo subscription service.
NBN is a private company founded and owned by Nabih Berri, who is the speaker of the Lebanese parliament, and it is the official station of the Lebanese Amal Movement, which is a political ally of Hezbollah.
NBN has for several years broadcast programs in Australia with commentary in support of Hezbollah, which was deemed a terrorist organisation by the Australian government in 2021. The channel has a “devoted following” in certain Sydney suburbs among Australian’s Shia Muslims, say Lebanese community sources.
The Jewish Independent has commissioned independent translations of content on NBN, which contain openly antisemitic commentary and hatred towards Israel.

The Conflict is Impossible to resolve as many amongst the Anti-Israelis are against any Jewish State and Holocaust Denial and Exultation of the Massacre of Jewish People are the proof that Israel needs never to be Complacent and be Armed to the Maximal Extent .
However there are Peoples who want to live in Peace with the Jewish People and other oppressed People and have the capacity to do so.
With these People a Humane alliance needs to be strongly Encouraged.
