Letter to AJN Editor and Publisher
By allowing the Australian Christian Lobby to infiltrate our community newspaper and spread bigoted propaganda about the LGBTIQ+ community, you have done the Australian Jewish community and its LGBTIQ+ members that you serve an incredible amount of harm.
You claim that you were forced to run the ad, but I draw your attention to clause 4 of your Advertising Terms and Conditions: "The PUBLISHER at all times retains its discretion to reject any advertisement it considers unsuitable for publication. Such discretion may be exercised at any time and will not be subject to any prior course of dealings. Ergo - The publisher of the Australian Jewish Press Pty Ltd trading as the Australian Jewish News did not consider this advertisement unsuitable for publication."
