Former Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger sentenced to 3.5 years in prison – Kobi Nachshoni & Liran Levy - Jewish Business News/Ynet 24.01.17
Former Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel Yona Metzger admitted to accepting millions in bribes and committing fraud. He will serve 3.5 years and pay a fine of NIS 5 million.
