The powerful and distinctive voices of Australian Jewish university students
‘Zeh’ means ‘this’. Gen Zeh provides a platform for this generation of young Jewish Australians to make their voices heard.
Gen Zeh is a collaboration between the Australasian Union of Jewish Students (AUJS) and The Jewish Independent (TJI), aimed at amplifying the diverse experiences of Australian Jewish students and recognising their distinctive insights and perspectives.
The past few years have been deeply challenging for Jewish university students. Campuses have become battlegrounds where Jewish students have faced hostility, silencing, and even violence.
Gen Zeh empowers young Jews to speak out, elevating the issues that matter most to them and supporting them to live proudly in our society.
