Uri Avnery, Israeli warrior for peace, dies at 94 (Forward)
JJ GOLDBERG Israel lost its most durable, most persistent peace activist and taboo-breaker on August 20 with the death in Tel Aviv of journalist Uri Avnery. He was 94 and had been unconscious since suffering a massive stroke on August 4.
