Mehdi Hasan challenges Martin Indyk on the US-Israel relationship in an episode of Al Jazeera’s Head to Head programme recorded at the Oxford Union and broadcast on 13 and 14 May 2016
Despite some unfairly domineering conduct by the programme host, Martin Indyk and Alan Johnson hold their own and express forthright views on the settlements, US-Israel relations, AIPAC, J-Street, nuclear weapons in the Middle East, Hamas, Palestinian national aspirations and the peace process past and future. Indyk also corrects the host in dramatic fashion about an important fact in the history of peace negotiations.
