Israeli security guards filmed kneeling on the neck of Bedouin bus driver; IDF officer handcuffs children together; peace protesters use bulldozers
Security guards knelt on the neck of a Bedouin bus driver in southern Israel on Thursday. The guards pinned him to the ground for at least half an hour, choking him, before arresting him on suspicion of attempting to steal a gun from one of the guards.
Al i Suad, a 28-year-old bus driver and Hebrew teacher from the Bedouin village of Kamanneh, said that he "saw death before my eyes" while the guards held him down. "First they sat on my chest, after that on my back, my arms, and for some of the time one of them crushed my neck with his knee until I couldn't breathe," he said. "It immediately brought to my mind the case of George Floyd, who was choked to death…it could have happened."
