While Jewish settlement in the West Bank has scattered over the years and used illegal outposts and small settlements to stick wedges into Palestinian residential blocs, the numbers paint a completely different picture… Jews comprise only 13.5 percent of the West Bank’s population and 4 percent of the land there, meaning the religious Zionist-messianic settlers have failed to create appropriate conditions for annexing the West Bank.
