Israel to Transfer 1.2 Million COVID Vaccine Doses to Palestinian Authority in Coming Days
(Haaretz)
Israel will give the Palestinian Authority 1.2 million doses of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine in the coming days, the new Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz decided on Thursday.
The doses will be given to people in both the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, 436,275 Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza have received at least one dose of vaccine, including around 260,000 who have received both doses. This includes around 100,000 Palestinians employed in Israel, who have been vaccinated by Israel over the past few months.
