Sydney resident Eddie Jaku, 101, has been honoured in a special photo exhibit of Holocaust survivors from around the world in the Kikar Safra Square outside the Jerusalem Municipality.

At a recent UIA event, Prime Minister Scott Morrison praised Jaku whose book "The Happiest Man on Earth" he received from Treasurer Josh Frydenberg.

“Eddie’s story is harrowing but it’s also hopeful. Of life in the Nazi concentration camps. And of course losing his family. But never losing his faith in humanity. Finding friendship even amongst the absolute ruins."
