Peacebuilding Olive branch

  • Any hope for a resolution of the conflict lies not in the leadership on either side but with the good-hearted Israelis and Palestinians working together for a better future for both peoples. There are more than 60 peacebuilding and civil society organisations involving both Israelis and Palestinians working for health, the environment, education and equal rights.

  • On May 8-9 2025 these organisations came together at a People’s Peace Summit aimed at getting peacebuilding back on the agenda.

This page reports on their efforts, honours their vision, and reflects on what is needed to improve the prospects for peace.
